I love to being able to patch my guitar pedals in as inserts in the mixer. All the other stuff works amazingly well for all sorts of stuff too! Just the tone shaping and the redeemer circuit alone make it worthwhile to me. I haven't cut a SINGLE guitar track that didn't hit the MW-1 first since I got it.
